How to Text Someone on Whatsapp Without Saving Their Number on Your Device

WhatsApp is a highly popular messaging service used widely in India and globally. It has made significant enhancements to its features in recent years to compete with other messaging platforms like Telegram and Line.

Many users rely on WhatsApp’s reliable interface to stay connected with their loved ones. However, there might be instances where users prefer not to save a number every time they want to message someone.

Although the official WhatsApp app does not provide a built-in method to send messages to unsaved numbers, there are a few workarounds that can be used to achieve this. These third-party solutions come in handy, particularly when users want to maintain their privacy and avoid disclosing their identity to recipients, assuming their privacy settings are set to “My Contacts.”

To send a message to someone on WhatsApp without saving their number, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open your preferred browser on your device.
  2. In the address bar, type the following URL: http://wa.me/+97XXXXXXXXXX. Replace the “XXXXXXXXXX” with the recipient’s phone number, including the country code.
  3. Press Enter, and you will be redirected to a webpage with the option “Continue to Chat.”
  4. Click on the “Open WhatsApp” option.
  5. WhatsApp will open, and you can compose your message.
  6. Type your message and click on the send button.

Please note that all conversations between you and the recipient are end-to-end encrypted, ensuring privacy and security.

Another option to message someone on WhatsApp without saving their number is by using the “Click to chat” app. This app is based on JavaScript and simplifies the process by reducing the number of steps required. However, it’s important to note that “Click to chat” is not an official WhatsApp app but a third-party platform. Furthermore, this service is only available for Android users.
